The International sector sells consumer items and subscriptions through international-focused websites.

The Amazon Web Services division sells computation, storage, databases, and AWS service offerings to start-ups, companies, government agencies, and academic institutions throughout the world. Jeff Bezos launched the firm in July 1994, and it is located in Seattle. Amazon.com, Inc. is a global technology corporation based in the United States that specializes in e-commerce, cloud computing, online advertising, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.

Through technical innovation and “aggressive” investing of revenues in capital expenditures, Amazon has developed a reputation as a disruptor of well-established sectors. In terms of revenue and market share, it is the world’s biggest online retailer and marketplace, smart speaker supplier, cloud computing service via AWS, live-streaming service through Twitch, and Internet firm as of 2022.

It eclipsed Walmart as the world’s biggest retailer outside of China in 2021, thanks in large part to its premium membership scheme, Amazon Prime, which has more than 200 million users globally. It is the country’s second-largest private employer.
