Rain threat looms large over Pakistan-India Match at T20 World Cup 2022
The highly anticipated T20 World Cup match between Pakistan and India on Sunday (Oct. 23) in Melbourne might be ruined by inclement weather in Australia as the day’s predictions indicate a high likelihood of downpours.

There are 95% odds of rain in Melbourne on October 23, most likely in the afternoon and evening, according to Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology. The game will begin at 7 p.m. (Australia time) and 1 p.m. (PST).
The game between Australia and New Zealand on Saturday is also in danger of being postponed or disrupted by rain, along with the Pakistan-India match.
The India-New Zealand warm-up game in Brisbane earlier on Wednesday was called off owing to nonstop rain, while the Pakistan-Afghanistan clash was also called off after the Green Shirts finished their innings.
According to ESPNcricinfo, a clash must consist of a minimum of five overs. There are no reserve days throughout the group stages, but there are for the semifinals and championship game.
