Paramount Plus Is Almost Here & We Can’t Wait!

Paramount Plus launches next month, but we don’t have to wait until then to start using the new subscription service from Paramount! If you’re like us and can’t wait to get your hands on this amazing new offering, here’s everything we know about Paramount Plus so far!

What is Paramount Plus?

In March of 2019, Paramount Pictures is launching a new streaming service called Paramount Plus. This new streaming service will offer a variety of new content that has not been seen before, as well as many classics like Beverly Hills Cop and Rambo. Right now we have a lot of questions about this new service but in the meantime here are some of the top things we know about it so far. *Who’s Streaming?*- The only company we know for sure that will be on the service is Paramount Pictures. Other companies may be signed on at some point in the future, but we don’t know who they would be yet.

How Much Does Paramount Plus Cost?

Do you have your popcorn ready? Get excited for Paramount Plus because it’s almost here. Catch a sneak peek at Paramount Plus, the new streaming service that will be taking over Netflix, Apple TV, and Google Play this summer. The monthly fee is competitive: $9.99 a month which translates to around $120 a year and much less than what you might spend on cable or an all-inclusive music streaming service like Spotify or Tidal. If you purchase an annual membership upfront, your cost is reduced to just $8.25 per month – so there’s really no excuse not to sign up! That said, take a look at what’s on offer and get ready for some movies this summer: the trailer highlights the classic All about Eve and the more recent Groundhog Day.

What Comes With Paramount Plus?

As you may have heard, Paramount is coming to Netflix. Starting next year, Paramount titles will be added to the streaming service under the name Paramount Plus. Before we get too excited, here’s what we know so far about this new subscription plan:

• There will be a monthly fee of $6.99 (or $69.99/year)
• The movies will only be available in HD and not 4K Ultra HD or HDR (at least not yet)
• The streaming service will include TV shows such as Gilmore Girls and Psycho and some Nickelodeon titles like Rugrats and SpongeBob SquarePants. If your family has favorites from those networks, you might want to try out Paramount Plus just for that!
• At launch, the plan will have at least 700 movie titles included with more being added regularly. Since we don’t know exactly how many there will be when it launches, that makes us even more excited for it!

In other words, get ready for a really great year of entertainment on Netflix with tons of new releases like A Quiet Place 2 and BoJack Horseman Season 5!

When Will I Get My First Box?

Once you get your first box, you’ll get an email notifying you that your monthly boxes will begin to ship out on the 21st of each month. The exact day you’ll receive your next box is based on when you signed up for Paramount Plus. For example, if you signed up on January 31st, then your next box will be shipped out at the end of February and you will receive another email notification. You can also check your emails on the 23rd of each month to see when exactly the next ship date is!

Are There Other Subscription Options or Products from Paramount Pictures?
